My great grandparents were Henry Ewart and Sarah Gunn. They met in Edinbourgh and married in Perth Scotland. Her parents were John Gunn and Isabel Gordon. My grandmother was Helen Henderson Ewart. Now Charles
Ewart who captured the Standard during the battle of Waterloo was my ancestor also and their is a painting of this event in Edinbourgh in a pub called the Ensigns Pub.
He was Charles of the Greys.
I have all the info and a copy of the painting as well as several articles written about him praising their hero of Europe for 15 minutes.

If this rings a bell with any of you let me know.

Elizabeth (Betsy)
