[Louisa Grierson was the daughter of Thomas Grierson in Larbreck (died 1798)]. [1] James Grierson married to his wife Katherine 14th May 1767. [2] Their son James Born 9th May 1768. [3] Thomas Born 14th November 1770, [he is buried at St. Michael's Cemetery in Dumfries, Scotland, died 1798], [4] David Born 24th January 1773, [5]Their daughter Katherine Born 14th March 1775, [died aged 4 1/2 years of age], [6]Their son George Born 2nd July 1777, [died 1796, aged 19 years], [7] Thomas Grierson my Brother Died the 30th October 1777 about 7 o'clock am, [was shot dead after surrender as per Colonel Benjamin Hawkins], [8] Katherine My dearly Beloved Wife Died The 20th August 1778 about 11 o'clock am aged to the best of my judgement 42 years, [born c1736], [9] Katherine My dearly beloved and Sweet little daughter Died the 7th September 1779 about half an hour past 2 o'clock in the morning. She was a pretty and most promising child - my future hope and conastant care.
