My full name is Robert Bruce Ewart, as is the name of my father and my eldest son. I am supposed to be the seventh of the name.
My son, at 31, is yet to produce the 9th. (This is despite my suggestions that he stop practising and get serious.) We all live in Melbourne, at the bottom right hand corner of Australia.
My great-grandfather was the first of that name to be born in Australia. This means there were three of my Robert Bruce Ewart's born in Scotland. Vague family memories have us linked to a weaver from Peebles.
Cousins, if you can help me find any one of these Robert Bruce Ewart's I would be very grateful.
