Tricia, As far as I know, Mary Ewart's parents were Robert Ewart II, c1727-1781, (Rev. War veteran, King's Mtn.), and Margaret Adams. Supposedly these folks came from Scotland; if someone has any evidence, I hope they will share it with us. Margaret Adams' father James, according to his grandson's obituary, came from Scotland to Cumberland Co., PA around 1740; I have a little more information about that, and wonder if the Ewarts took the same route. I am interested to know your connection and would very much like to share information about this family.
