Dear John,
I just saw your reference to a Samuel Ewart in Lanarkshire. My gr. grandfather, John Ewart was born in Airdrie, Lanarkshire in 1841. He had a brother Samuel born. c. 1853 also in Lanarkshire. Their Father was also Samuel, born 1819 in Ireland. I pretty much know the line in the USA, and have wondered if the siblings of my ggrandfather may have come to Canada.
