EWART Family Clan History

I received some information yesterday from the St. Andrew's Society, locally based in Plano, Tx though this may JUST be the local group. Anyway this info says that Ewart is a sept of Clan Dalzell. They sent me a page copied from "The Surnames of Scotland" that says the surname is of an old family in Galloway, who are said to have come originally from Roxburghshire.
Of Dalziel "Scottish Clans and Family Encyclopeida says, "Since 1259 over two hundred different forms of this name have been recorded, from Dalzeel to Diyell. Has anyone ever heard of this clan? Contact for the clan is John M. Delzell, Dalzell Family (yes, it is spelled two diff. ways), 265 River Drive, East Palatka, FL 32131.
