Hi there, you might be in luck, old family tradition in my ancestral background of naming a male member of the familey "Archibald". I currently have cousins living in the Detroit area name of Archibald. The original Ewart familly came to Canada in 1856,the patriarch was Samuel and he had a son named Archibald and so on down to the present. The first record of an ancestor with this name is in 1764 in Scotland. does this sound interesting; if so let me know and we can compare notes.
