My David Ewart settled for a time in Butler Co., OH and had a son, William, but to my knowledge he had no middle name - but then what do I know. I am descended from this William though, and I do know he ended up in Greenup, Cumberland Co., IL. His wife was Sarah Kirkpatrick. She was number 2. Their son, Thomas Kirkpatrick Ewart was my great grandfather. My grandfather, Everett Carl Ewart was born in Greenup in 1888.
