Robert Lincoln Ewan was not a brother of Florence A. (Ewan) Goddard.

Whereas Florence was a daughter of Levi Ewan, Robert was a son of John P. Ewan (a brother of Levi).

I have some pretty good data on the 9 children and the 21 grandchildren of Samuel and Mercy (Sprague) Ewan if anyone is interested.

Mercy Sprague was my 4th great-grandmother, and her daughter Asenath Hawley (from Mercy's first marriage to William Hawley) was my 3rd great-grandmother.

However because Samuel Ewan is not one of my direct ancestors, I have no information on his lineage.

For those who are interested in that line of research, it is known that Samuel Ewan and Mercy Sprague were married in 1806 in Ontario Co. NY, and that prior to migrating to Dearborn Co. IN circa 1817/1818 they had lived in Genesee Co. NY.
