\Some of the Ewan family is known to me. Florence A. Ewan b April 23, 1860 in Hayden, Jennings Co. IN and d in 1933 married a cousin, Harvey M. Goddard on February 19, 1882 in Newton county. I don't know how far you are tracing the descendants, but I would be willing to send them if needed.
Another brother, Charles Franklin Ewan m November 8, 1887 in Newton County Ida Belle Hanger. She was the daughter of David George Hanger and Mary A. Peak. Charles was born in August 1864 in Indiana. Their children were O. Ray Ewan and Laura Ethel Ewan, b Jun 1891 and married October 7, 1915 to George Ellis Flowers on October 7, 1915 in Newton County. They had one son, George Jr. who passed recently and you will find a short history of him in the last issue of the Newcomer, our Newton County Historical Society newsletter.
Another brother, Robert Lincoln Ewan b April 24, l865 d. August , 1934 married on May 13, 1888 in Newton County, Alma B. Brady, of the numberous Brady family who lived at Morocco, IN.
My records indicate that Levi Ewan moved to Beaver township from Jennings County, IN in 1867
