I have learned thar Brigitta Korner/Koerner b. was 1817 in Ostringen, Bruchsal, Baden. She m. ______ Bassler who d. befor they came to the U.S. with their three ch., Frederich, Paulina Philina and Mattias. Paulina later m. Henry Achenbach (IN).

From the looks of the German script it appears Jacob Ewald came from Molrheisen or Molrseisen near Pforzheim in Baden.

Brigitta m. Jacob Ewald in Orange Co., IN and Clark Co., IN, in 1847. Their ch were Jacob Jr., Nicholas, Eliza, John George, Kate, Theresa, Christina & Sidney.

Jacob d. in 1870. Brigitta remarried Henry Buchheit. No ch. He died 1877. She d. 1877.

They all lived in and around Clark Co., IN. and had relatives in Louisville, KY.

This info came from the family register in the family Bible. The Handwriting is faded & German script so difficult to read.
