Hello, my gg-grandmother's name was Sophie Ewert. I have also seen it spelled as Evert. Sophie was born
6/24/1856 in Germany, she died 10/4/1950 in Monroe, Green County, WI. Her father's name was Johan/John Stoll. I do not have any info on him, nor do I know her mothers or her siblings name.
Sophie married Carl/Karl Stoll 4/1/1877 in Steinhagen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. The family emigrated to US in 1893, locating to Green County, WI. A few of Sophie & Carl's children were born in Germany. Their children's name were: August, Frederick, Hermann, Frank, Theodore, Wilhelmina "Minnie" (my-g-grandmother), Bertha, Augusta, Edith, Sophie, Wilhelm/William & Dora. look forward to hearing from you.
Does anyone have any Stoll's or a Johan or Sophie Ewert/Evert in their line?
