I'm searching for any info on my great grandfather, John Eversole, of Perry County, Ky., born about 1856. My grandfather, Thomas Eversole, was his son (along with Green and Joseph, and Nancy Ann, a sister). John was the son of Wollery G. Eversole, who was the son of Peter Eversole, who was the son of Jacob, the famous original Ky. Eversole settler. John was married to Hannah Baker. Beyond that, I have no info. Since John would have been in his 30s during the French-Eversole feud, it's hard to imagine that John was not in some way affected/involved. But my grandfather did not speak of him, my surviving aunts and uncles know very little about him, and he simply disappears from the record after the 1880 census. One source reports that he died around 1892, but I have no real confirmation of that or of any cause of death. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated.
