I have done quite a bit of research on the Eversfields, but unfortunately cannot make a connection for you. I do know that there was a Moses Eversfield who lived in Southwark, died in 1747/48 I believe. He also had a brother William who lived in Kent married a Mary Potter I believe. The American Eversfields descend from a John Eversfield, husbandman in Kent d. 1637, his will was probated in the Rochester Diocese, they were associated with Pembury Parish. He had two daughters and two sons. One of his sons was Edward, he had sons John, Matthew, William and James. James and Matthew immigrated to Ireland. William, as I've said, remained in Kent, John died childless. Matthew's son John became a priest and immigrated to Maryland in 1728. I would be glad to look up what I have on the Kent Eversfield's if you'd like. Let me know.
