John, I wish I could help. My father was born in 1924 to "Will" Evers (we are not even sure that is his name) and Linner Adell Ford Evers. My father's father left them when my Dad was five years old. My grandfather took my father (Andrew Jackson Evers) and my Uncle Henry back to Webster's Chapel where she is from to live. My father nor my Uncle Henry could tell me much about the Evers side of the family. All my father knew was that they live with his grandmother "Roxy" and his grandfather who went by the name of Porter in the Mountain Creek Community of Chilton County. I have not been able to find any information nor have I found the marriage certificate on my grandparents. I have really hit a brick wall.

I hope someone out there has the info you are looking for. Good Luck and keep up the search.
Margie
