I do have information for your son-in-law's Everitt ancestors in my file. Too much time has elapsed for me to know where it came from.

"1. JOHN BRIDGER5 EVERITT (JEHU WINOTT4, JOHN3 EVERETT/EVERITT, NATHANIEL2 EVERETT, JR., NATHANIEL1) was born 21 May 1817 in Bulloch County, Georgia, and died 18 Feb 1864 in Washington County, Alabama. He married MARTHA ANN JOHNSON 18 Nov 1839 in Washington County, Alabama. She was born 25 Jan 1820 in Alabama, and died 26 Aug 1881 in Denton, Texas.

       i.       RACHEL ANN EVERITT, b. 21 Aug 1840.
ii.       JAMES HAMPTON EVERITT, b. 01 Dec 1845.
iii.       JOSIAH JESSE (JEHUE) EVERITT, b. 29 Oct 1846.
iv.       JOHN HANDCOCK (HENRY) EVERETT, b. 17 Jan 1848."

You also want to know more about Rachel BARRY, the mother of Mary (Polly) JONES who married Jehu Winott EVERITT. I have that ancestry as researched by a Ted Lewis. Also, someone sent me by Gedcom - a BARRYE file. It goes back 18 generations. Contact me. You will also be interested in the ancestry of Mary (Polly) JONES' father - Bridger Jones.
