I just came across this post, and am not sure if you're still interested in it, but if I have this all worked out properly (it gets a little confusing with the "recycling" of names), then the cousin Asa Everitt is probably my 5gr-grandfather, a son of your John's brother Moses, and a brother to the other cousins mentioned. The mention of the Delaware River and Kingswood also fit with the Northampton county, PA, and Hunterdon county NJ locales for my part of that family.

I don't have a lot on this family (it was a hard one to pin down), but I wouldn't mind trading notes. You can feel free to e-mail me directly if interested. I'm particularly impressed by a primary family source with that much info that's that old!
