Heritage before Christian Eberhard

I have a good record of my family heritage back to Christian Eberhart, born 1728. Christian was father to Peter to John, to Mathias, to George, To Dewey(my Grand Father), to Dwain, (my father). Does anyone have information that is prior to Christian? The name Eberhart was chnaged to Everhardt by Mathias. I've discovered this web site and would like to investigate further. Your help is greatly appreciated.
