Hi Elayine,
I've only just learned about this forum being relatively new to family tree building but since I'm looking at Everetts in Suffolk thought I might be able to help you? Do you have access to records through a site like ancestry.com? If not, let me know and perhaps I can look them up for you as it's the main site I've bene using so far. Another useful site which has lots of UK parish records dating back to the mid 16th century (for some at least) is a site called findmypast.com - it's a pay as you go type site so you can get as much or as little as you like. Another useful general site is IGI.
You might already have exhausted these possibilities!
