His Father was Thomas Everett 1750, Williamsburg, Charles City, Va.His mother was Patience Ann Porter abt 1756, Va.
If you will contact me, I have fairly complete line of these ancestors as the Thomas 1781 that you seek is the brother to my great-great grandfather Myles Everett.
DR. CRAIG EVERETT, editon of"THE EVERETT FAMILY RESEARCHERS CHRISTMAS REPORT, Tucson, Arizona the following:
Lt. Thomas Everett (who served in the Revolutionary War - made Captain Va. Volunteers.) with his wife Patience Ann Porter and with his sons, Thomas and Myles, who were born in Chowan Co., NC, as the earliest identified thus far (1994) in our line of southern Everett Family.
We have identified a number of Everetts living adjacent to the Albermarle Sound, to the north in Chowan County, and to the southin Tyrrell County---we are still working on trying to link at least three different families in this area.
This states that his wife was Patience Ann Porter and that they had two children: Thomas and Myles Everet
Thomas and Jennette Everett are mention in the book "The History of Stewart County pages 914/915. Also mention is their daughter Mary Everett. The page is reference to the John Shaw Lunsfords family. On the web site of Webstert County Georgia you have to go the Webster County Georgia on line cecsus records and then go to the 1860 census record not the index. Then go to part III as you run down the numbers and names you'll see Theophilus and further douwn you'll find Thomas and Jennette. If you can find the book "The History of Anson County North Carolina" on page 212 there's a articel on the Everett's if you need more email me.
IN THOMAS EVERETT'S WILL: Filed in the Webster Court Ordinary, Webster County, Georgia. He mentions his wife Jennet, various children including John Everett and son-in-law Samuel Applewhite as Executors of his last will and testament. (A copy of the Will was sent to me by Lee Perkins, Monroe, La.)
