Hi Jack.
I was interested in your early Everett information you posted. I have Thomas, son of Simon and Ann Turner, born abt 1697, Isle of Wight Co., VA. His will was 9 Oct 1723, probated 27 Jan 1724, Isle of Wight Co., VA. He mentioned his wife (did not name her) but named no children.
Do you have a death/will date for the Thomas you wrote of? The reason why I ask, I have always wondered if the Simon who married Ann Turner was the son of another Simon, who was in turn son of William and Ann Everett. I have seen "my" Simon as the son of William, but the dates aren't lining up.
Simon and Ann Turner married about 1695. Simon was born around 1670/1675 I figure because of the marriage date. Unless he was married previously, but I have found no such documentation on this. If you have "proof" of your Thomas being his son, then possibly the Thomas I have listed would be an UNCLE to my Simon and there is a missing generation.
I don't know. Very confusing. What do you think?
Hope I made sense. Linda M.
