Dianne:
I've never been able to track down documented proof of any Native American marriages in my dad's family line, but the photographs sure look like there were some!I'm from the line of Solomon Everett & Sarah Doster, through their son Quentin and his first wife who was supposed to be a Christmas. One of his brothers, James, married a Christmas, & I speculate the women were sisters.I have seen James' marriage to a Christmas, but not Quentin's.
Solomon was born in Maryland, but by 1790 was in Mecklinburg N.C. where he married Mary "Sarah" Doster. They ended up in Georgia where a number of their children lived.
