This is my fathers obituary from the San Diego Union Tribune dated Sept. 20 2002.
Robert Harrell Everett, 94 of Alpine died Saturday.He was born in Butler, MO, and was a locksmith.
Survivors include his daughter, Sondra Nelson of Alpine;
sister, Betty Jean Carson of Iowa; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements:Lakeside-Santee Funeral Chapel.
Robert Harrell Everett, was known by the nickname "Hal", and his parents were Luther Clay Everett and Della Francis Herrell, both of Butler, MO.His siblings were, Jenna Francis, Emma Maxine, (both preceded him in death), & Betty Jean EVERETT.He married Alice Marjorie Gilman, 31 Dec 1929
in Iowa,Alice died 16 Mar 1989/
Hal's death place is listed as La MesaSan Diego CountyCA.
It seems that most of this EVERETT line live a very long time.He had an uncle that lived to be 103, another 101 and his father was 92.Good genes.
