Hi Jack,
Just got your e-mail and was glad to finally connect with someone from the same line. My g-grandfather Joshua B. Everett was married to Elender Jane Houston. He was wounded at Deep Bottom II and died in Richmond,Va. I also have come across the same information that you have,but have not come across the connection between Keton Everett and John Everett,Sr. in my research. I think John Everett, Sr. was married to Anne Lee,but have not been able to find any proof of this.
I know that after John Everett, Sr died,all his childen,except John Barrett,moved to this area. I found any old cemetery here with a James B. Everett b. Apr.27,1831 and died Mar.18,1905. I think this could be Joshua B. Everett's brother. I live in Worth Co.,Ga. now,having moved here a short time ago. I have been trying to find what Joshua's middle name was,but have had no luck.
This line is very hard to trace because the burned records of Twiggs Co.,Ga.
