The Genealogical Society of New Jersey and Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania will sponsor a one-day seminar on 5 April 2003. George Redmonds, Ph.D., a noted British historian, will be the Keynote Speaker presenting two lectures "Surnames, Genes, and Family Origins" and "Kith and Kin -- Tracing Ancestors thru Their Names". Two other well-known speakers, John Konvalinka CGRS, CGL and Colin Brooks, will also present lectures -- "Discovering London's Genealogical Resources" and "Which Way Did They Go? Scotch-Irish Research". Other highlights of the day will include tours of the New Jersey State Archives and the State Library and a book fair/vendor exhibit area.
