Hello,
My great grandfather Thomas M. Scott, was born in Surry County, NC on July 22, 1830....He died in Elmira, NY as a prisoner in the Civil War....I have not been able to ascertain who Thomas Scott's parents were. Back in those days there were a lot of Thomas Scott's...A contact of mine thinks he was the sone of Leonard H. Scott, but we are not sure...Finding Thomas's parent would tie my line of Scotts with a lot of other Scotts...My grandfather Frank Scott, married a Susanah Edwards, d/o of Edward Edwards, don;t recall offhand who her mother was...
