Your reunion probably pertains mostly to your branch of Mahaffeys, but since you are in OK I wondered if any of your Mahaffeys were in Texas at any time?
I don't have much on my lady -- Lucinda Mahaffey b 29 Apr 1828 GA. She married Charles Pinckney Walker either in AL, where he was born, or MS where their first son, Alexander Fleming Walker was born in 1844. By 1847 next child is born in TX, and they are on the 1850 Upshur Co, TX census.
Charlie's brother, Samuel H. Walker, was in Choctaw Co, MS, on 1850 census, and we assume that is the county in MS for our Walker line.
By 1860 the brothers, and their families, are in Parker Co, TX. Charlie died 1862 while in the military. Lucinda remarried. I descend from Lucinda and Charlie and their first son. (^_^)
