Hi Allen,
I wonder if your Waltham Abbey, Essex family of EVENNETT is the same as mine? Ann/e Matilda EVENNETT married James Roberts LOCKWOOD in 1845 and they resided in West Ham mostly. Her father was Charles EVENNETT and he was a master tailor. There is also a son of Charles named Charles who was also a tailor.

This is a difficult area to source as many of the churches were bombed in the world war circa. Waltham Abbey had a gunpowder works.
