Eveleigh-Eveleth-Evleth

The alternate family branch of the Eveleth are the Evleths, fewer in number. Sylvester is the common root, my own male line passes through Joseph (b 1641), John
Eveleth (b. 1669), Francis Eveleth
(b. 1700), Joseph(2) Eveleth (b. 1732),
Joab Eveleth (b. 1768), the name change appearing with Joseph (3) in 1823, the eldest of Joab.

As for Sylvester, somebody sent me a geneology dated back to 1455 (John Eveleigh, b 1455) but Sylvester's father is listed as
Charles Eveleigh (b. 1575) married to a
Mary Sylvester (b. 1580) their having only one son, Sylvester (b. 1605). On the other hand the George Simonds Eveleth Jr. Website gives details indicating that Sylvester's father was John Eveleigh (b. about 1580) married to Jane. They had 5 children, Sylvester being the first.

Any clarifications?
