My name is Kelly Stone and I am the granddaughter of Minnie Lee Evett (married name Minnie Lee Stone), daughter of Hubert Evett. I have Hubert's obituary and this is what it says (it is not dated)

Hubert Franklin Evett, 68 of 1 Carlton Avenue W. Greenville, died today.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth E. Hughes of Larens and Mrs. Minnie Lee E. Stone of Pittsburg, Calif; a son, Ray evett of Greenville; a sister, Mrs. Minne Lee Rhodes of Greenville; a brother Harmon Evett of Greenville; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
