John Chester Evans and his wife, Effie Anderson Evans, left Rome, Floyd County, Ga for Carnege, Caddo County, OK in the 1930's or before.
They had the following children: Dick, Ollie Evans Williams, Viola Evans Pennington, Sam, Leo, Iona Evans Johnson, and Howard.
Most of the children are believed to have remained in the Carnege area.
Any information on these folks or their descendants will be appreciated. I'm happy to share info on the part of the family that remained in GA.
