I'll give you what I have but that is very little. Robert Evans was a shoemaker in St. John. I know he had at least three sons James , William, and Robert Jr. plus a daughter Agnes. James migrated to Chelsea,Mass. His wife was May Hay of Newfoundland(assume married in Newfoundland). Agnes migrated to Lynn, Mass. and married a Frank Spratt. The Evans children listed above were born in the 1860's. The boys are listed as shoemakers in the city directory for 1880.
I have only two clues on this Miss Hudson. The marriage record in 1895 for Agnes lists her parents as Robert and Mary. Agnes death certificate lists parents as Robert Evans and Fannie Hudson. That is all I know. I cannot find any good references for either Evans or Hudson nor a researcher knowledgeable on these lines. Any help you can render would be most appreciated.
