Looking for an Evans who died by 1795 SC & left widow Amelia. She then married Robert DAVIS about 1795 & they lived in Kershaw Co, SC. We know they had 2 sons- Joseph & ROSIER Davis. These Davises came to Wayne/Clarke Co MS. By the 1st MS census they are in (1830 Wayne Co MS) Robert was living alone- presumed widow by then. His Rev War pension appl gives us info that he married widow Amelia Evans who died many yrs before him.
In 1800 Kershaw Co, SC census, William Evans is next to Robert & Amelia.
