I'm trying to find teh parents of Jesse Evans, teh outlaw. Leader of "the Boys" in the 1870s. Trying to sort out some old family rumors about a connection. He is supposed to be born 1853, possibly in Missouri. In 1871 supposedly arrested, with his parents, for passing counterfeit money.
Any help would be appreciated.
