Looking for information on the Eva family. My family might have originated from the Eva family. I have traced my family back to a man named David Efau/Efaw. He was born in PA about 1765. There are no other Efaws listed anywhere. His name might have changed from Eva to Efaw. I have found a Jacob Eva born in 1760 in Colerain Twp., Bedford County, Pa, who might have been his brother. One source I have lists a Jacob Eva as his father. One other source lists Johann Adam Eva as his father. Does anyone have any information that could help connect the family names? My family members have been working on this for 40+ years. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
