Hi Tracy,
As you can see I am a Eunice. The way I hear it, my ancestor was a jewish doctor who was captured during the Moorish invasion of the Iberian Peninsula in the 1700's. His life was spared because he was a doctor. Ogelthorpe had a habit in those days of buying slaves and prisoners and bringing them back to Georgia. So here I am I live in Florida. My father grew up around Waycross, Ga. I have many relatives in southeast Ga. There arent many Eunice men left though. It seems we all have Heriditary heart disease. My fathers oldest uncle lived to be 65. My fathers father died at 35. Just a little info to wet your whistle. We have a geneaology traced back to the doctor in Portugal. I would like to hear from you.
