I am interested in finding someone that has a copy of the Eudy Family History Book. My family had a copy and it burned in a fire when I was a child. Any information you have would be appreciated. The information I have on my line is: Three brothers came from Germany in the 1700's. Their father was the Head of the Guards in Germany and when they came to America he disowned them as his sons. The three brothers fought in the American Army against England and when they won they were given land in the United States in North Carolina. In our history one of the brothers married, had two girls and one boy and was killed when a tree fell on him. The boy grew up and married and they had fifteen kids, seven girls and eight boys. When they went to Alabama they took two boys and five girls with them. One of the boys was Levi Leroy (my great-great grandfather). Levi was born 01-31-1828 in North Carolina, married Martha Dunn on 12-13-1856, fathered five children, fought for the Confederacy in the Civil War, died and was buried in Mt. Oak Methodist Church Cemetary in a grave marked by a Civil War Military Marker in Ruther Community, Marshall County, AL. If anyone has any information on this family line, please contact me. Thank you very much.
