Kaye,
I am glad to find a Eubanks from S.C. as I
have a GGGrandfather named John David b.
1811 in Charleston,Chesterfield,So.Carolina
Before 1844 he left there and migrated to
Tuscaloosa,Al. where he married Elizabeth
Hardy. At some time in the next three year
period his wife and two infant children
died. They died either before they along
with John David left Al. ,or after, moving
to Panola Co.,Ms.He was married abt.1846-
1847 to Eliza Jane Kimbol b.1813, also of
Al.Have you any info on this line?
Please reply!
PS: My mother and her brothers and sisters
had a distinctive look also; black, wavy
hair, sparkling blue eyes and a nose like
no other. Was your family like mine??
Jean
