John Edward Embanks (Eubanks)
Anyone having any pictures of John Edward Embanks (Eubanks).He was a world war I vet, earned a purple heart in France.Lived most of his life in eastern Oregon prospecting for gold.Had a home in Ukiah, Oregon.Was taken in when he was around 7 yrs oldby a family from just outside of Dale, Oregon.Born in Minnapolis,Minn in 1893.His mother was Mary A. Eubanks from Dublin, Ireland.Prior to John Edward going west on an orphan train, he lived in BlueEarth, Minn.Everyone around Dale, Oregon knew him as Jack Embanks.He died in 1968 and is buried in WallaWalla, Washington in the Veterns Cem. We do not know what to happened to his mother Mary.
