This family was in the 1850 census, at Honey Creek, Adams County, Illinois, where it appears that the father of the family is Joseph Eubanks (rather than William), with wife Ruth, children Mary, Joseph, William, Hannah, Sarah, Frank (Fredrick?), George, Maria (Dora?).The next household is William (a few years older than Joseph, likely his brother) and Sarah Eubank, daughters Phebe and Sarah.
In 1860, Joseph and Ruth are in Salt River, Adair, Missouri, children still at home are Fredrick, George, Marodra (Maria/Dora?), James and Henry.
Ambrose Asher can be found in the 1870 census, Quincy, Adams, Illinois, along with Sarah (Mrs. William) Eubanks, and Ruth (Mrs. Joseph) Eubanks. He was likely listed as Conrad Eubanks in 1860, living with Daniel and Hannah (Eubanks) Walton, in Adams County, Illinois. (My wife descends from Daniel and Hannah's daughter Minnie (Walton) Brownlee-Hough, who contributed to the Ellenbecker articles about the massacre.)
Lucinda (Walton) Eubanks's second husband was (probably) James Bartholomew, marriage in Adams County, Illinois, Mar 28, 1866.
