I am searching for the descendents of Thomas
Eubank, one of four brothers who came to Talbot
County Maryland from England in 1715. My
information is that he married Martha Harrison
and had four sons. One of his grandsons, also
named Thomas, moved to North Carolina, and died
there in 1776. Apparently the migration
continuted to South Carolina, and eventually
to Georgia. The "s" was added somewhere along
the way. My GG grandfather, James Eubanks, was born
in SC about 1801 and may well be a sibling of
your John Eubanks. There was also an Isaac
Newton Eubanks, born about 1787 in NC who died
in Schley County, GA about 1869. He is probably
also related. My father and grandfather were
both named Isaac Newton Eubanks, but do not appear
to be in the direct line of the earlier Isaac.
There appear to have been other Eubanks families
involved in the migration as well.
