Have you ever seen the book "Forney's Five Family Records" written in 1931. This book covers Benners, Clappers, Ettlemans, Forneys, and Studys. If you do not have the book and would like me to look up anything, please let me know. This book covers only those found in the United States. Look like the oldes Clapper in the book is John Henry Clapper born in Germany, wife Mary Swank born in Germany and goes on from there. I have been working on the Ettleman family lately and going thru this book to help me find information I need. I am one of those who loves to share information but like to verify the information received myself. We can all make mistakes including me so just another verification.
