Jim: I was re-reading what you sent in your last post and started laughing. I just wrote a follow up to you on the Pennsylvania Dutch and I mentioned that in one site I read the Amish and Mennonites kept little records because of persecution. As I read your post I suddenly realized this statement was in your message!
I feel I am going in circles. You received the belief that the Ettleman's were Mennonites from me ......... around and around we go. Sometimes I feel our ancestors are getting one great kick out of our attempts to find out about them.
