I am pretty sure that both names, Klein & Frazure originally came from descendants of Daniel (William) Ettleman. As I have noted before, the census records jump back and forth as to the birth state of Susanna - Jacob's wife. Some records indicate MD and some OH. Most of these records rely on the children giving these census takers the birth state of their mother.
Last night I found a total of 5 records on Jacob Ettleman, that were submitted by 5 separate families, all listing a second marriage for Jacob. None of them however, gave a last name for the second wife. If Jacob was married twice, it was pretty inconsiderate of him to have married two women with the same first name.<grin>
I did find one family that listed Jacob's wife as Susanna Frazure. I include the record below. It is interesting that this family seems to be connected through Jacob's daughter Susanna Ettleman b 1832. So it would be plausible that the two daughters born in the 1830s had a different mother than the earlier children. I do note that this record is off by 10 years giving the year of Jacob's birth as 1804. So there is a question of accuracy.
