Good Morning!
I am looking for some information on my Great Grand Father, Jacob Ettinger.
From his obituary published in the Weekly Valley Harold, Chaska, Minnesota, Feb. 19, 1920.
Jacob lived in Hammelmuehl, Bavaria, Germany and was born in 1844. He came to this country in 1872 and settled in Kentucky where he worked in a flour mill for a time.
He moved to Minnesota in 1876 and married Lena Bierlein. The union was blessed with 10 children. After his death he layed in state at the home of his sister, Mrs. Herman Helmeke in Chaska, Minnesota.
