Hi Malcolm,
I wonder if your lot of Etheringtons includes a Jemima Etherington born in East Meon, Hampshire in 1802.
She was probably baptised elsewhere, as I have searched the East Meon registers without success.
She married George Chalk in Durley, Hampshire in 1825, and died at the Droxford Union House when she was 85.
Would be grateful for any crumbs of information you can toss my way!
