Etheringtons -- booksellers -- London -- 1700's

Is anybody tracing this Etherington branch? One of the Etheringtons may be a Christopher. I am looking for Jane, born somewhere around 1729 to 1744 who married Richard Walker. I believe that she is related to Etherington booksellers. Later -- 17 and 18 hundreds -- there were a Thomas and an Ambrose Etherington; both connected to my Walkers.

Whiston Bristow signed Richard's and Jane's marriage certificate. He, too, was a bookseller that went bankrupt during a fire somewhere around 1780. He then turned to auctioneering.

I would, also, like to know more about this fire -- not the great fire that occurred in 1660 -- that put so many people in the booktrade out of business.
