Hi Evan, I am delighted to say that I am connected to the Etherington family, my connection is through WILLIAM ETHERINGTON who married MARY BOND about 1864? Unfortunately I think Mary died, and WILLIAM married a SARAH ANN MULVEY on the 3/9/1876. She had also previously been married to a THOMAS MULVEY, and again he had died. Sarah's maiden name was HERRINGTON. Sarah and Thomas Mulvey had a daughter called MARGARET MULVEY born about 1869, she married an ALFRED REDHEAD born 1869 in Skerton, Lancashire.ALFRED and MARGARET were married on the 26th March, 1892 in St. Mary's, Lancaster He was the son of a ROBERT and ANN REDHEAD who lived in Main Street, Skerton, Lancashire. ROBERT REDHEAD was the brother of WILLIAM REDHEAD who was my gggrandfather. I have lots more information which I will let you have if you agree with my connection.
