Is there any information in the book about a Lewis Etheridge married to Alidia [unknown surname]? Owing to similar family given names, I am wondering if he could be a son of or related to Aaron Etheridge [married Elizabeth DeLoach]. Lewis was born about 1778 - 1780 in South Carolina. Children: Hannah, Aaron, Lewis, James, Martha, Robert, and possibly others. I am a descendant of Aaron Etheridge/Ethridge, born circa 1804 in Edgefield county, South Carolina. He married Sarah A. Frazier in January of 1827, Edgefield county, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Jesse and Nancy Frazier. Moved to Georgia. Lewis and Aaron in Newton county in 1830. Aaron later moved off to Randolph county. Lewis Etheridge in Butts county by 1850. Children of Aaron and Sarah [Frazier] Etheridge: John, Pete, Mary Ann, William, Martha, Jesse, Thomas, Lewis, Aaron, and Amanda Elizabeth.
Lewis's daughter, Hannah Etheridge [b. 1800], married Martin Stidham, 1817, Edgefield county, South Carolina. He was the son of John Stidham by his first wife. After her death, John Stidham married Nancy Frazier [Sarah's widowed mother].
