sorry I should have included some dates in my previous post:
my grandmother was Ada Weller (b 1886 Etheridge before she was married). Her father was Walter Etheridge (b. 1859 married to Rose Rivers), of the Bishopric in Horsham. I suspect that Walter's parents were George (b abt 1837) and Ann (b abt 1836). Any connections? I know there were a number of the family living at various addresses in the Bishopric.
Incidentally 'The Bishopric' is just the name of a road near the centre of Horsham - and is no indication of ecclesiastical significance on the part of the family.
